Fall is almost here! Can you believe it? Get out there and enjoy the weather before we’re all wearing raincoats and dodging puddles.
SEPTEMBER 5 - AQUASOX POSTSEASON BASEBALL
Fall baseball is something to treasure. It means the team you love has made it into the postseason, and that's exactly what the Everett AquaSox have done. See them take on the Spokane Indians in the first round of the 2018 Northwest League Divisional Series with Mariners fireballer Hisashi Iwakuma on the mound for game one in a rehab start.
Check out the complete schedule here.
SEPTEMBER 7-15 - EVERETT BEER WEEK
Everett Beer Week is a collaboration between Toggle’s Bottle Shop on Hewitt and the annual Upper Left Beer Festival. As in past years, the event will include the usual two-day weekend street fair (Upper Left). But this year there will be accompanying parties at Toggle’s Bottle Shop on Hewitt with music and a special Everett taplist.
SEPTEMBER 13-23 - SCHACK-TOBERFEST
Schack-toberfest is a series of seasonal events at the Schack Art Center. The week-and-a-half of festivities are centered around blown-glass pumpkins. You can buy a glass pumpkin, make one, or go to a silent auction featuring music, drinks, and the art of 40+ local artists.
See the full lineup of events and details here.
SEPTEMBER - AQUASOX GAMES/PLAYOFFS
This year the home team is going to the playoffs! The AquaSox season is extended into fall as the Frogs battle to claim the championship. If you like to sit in the bleachers, eat popcorn, and watch good baseball, this is your chance to see some hometown Single-A action.
See the season’s schedule right here.
SEPTEMBER 28-30 - EVERETT SAUSAGE FESTIVAL
This annual community-wide event in the Riverside District has been an Everett staple for decades. It’s a family-friendly bonanza of carnival rides, games, food, and booths. Tip: get a tray full of BBQ salmon and duck into the basement for homemade blackberry pie. It’s all for a good cause — proceeds from the event support the local Catholic school.
