Four Fun Things: Cool Treats

Four Fun Things: Cool Treats

Summer in Snohomish County sneaks up on you. One day you have the heater on, the next you’re sweating and wondering where all this heat came from. If you’re looking for a way to cool off this summer, these four treats will help you beat the heat.

Gelato and Affogato at Spotted Cow Coffee Co.
15118 Main St #700, Mill Creek

Spotted Cow has some of the best coffee in Snohomish County, as well as some of the best gelato. Grab a scoop or two in a cone or a cup, or indulge and get an affogato—a shot of espresso over vanilla bean gelato. A cool way to get some pep in your step while beating the heat.

Ivar’s Ice Cream at Lighthouse Park
710 Front St, Mukilteo

Just a short walk from the park proper, Ivar’s Fish Bar serves up timeless fish and chips, but also soft ice cream ready to be enjoyed while taking in everything Lighthouse Park has to offer.

Full Tilt Ice Cream at Midnight Cookie Co.
Park Way #8, 607 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett

Sometimes you dream of premium cream, and Midnight Cookie Co. has you covered. Midnight carries Seattle favorite Full Tilt in cups or pints. Don’t want to drive? They even deliver via Uber Eats and Postmates if you live in a three-mile radius.

Vegan Soft Serve at K Fresh
1105 Hewitt Ave, Everett

You know, as we get older, dairy doesn’t quite agree with some of us anymore. Luckily, Korean spot K Fresh serves vegan ice cream so good you’d swear it’s the real thing. They only have one flavor (vanilla), but offer different syrups and fruit to jazz up your cup. K Fresh also offers up vegan milkshakes in a variety of flavors made with the same delicious soft serve.

Honorable Mention: Triangle Fruit Market in Everett
1420 E Marine View Dr, Everett

Serving up a plethora of flavors in a cone or a cup, Triangle Fruit Market is one of the best places to get ice cream in Everett, and a true hidden gem.
