Everett Real Estate Market Update: July 2019
Every month we like to take a look at how the Everett real estate market is trending.* Let’s jump in and check out last month’s numbers for June 2019:
For comparison, let’s compare that to the previous month, May 2019:
Yet again, another notable increase. From May 2019 to June 2019:
Average prices jumped from $429,000 to $449,000 (That’s 4.7%, or $20,000 in a single month!)
Average number of days on market dropped slightly from 19 down to 17.
The number of homes sold increased slightly from 219 up to 234.
Price has certainly been the biggest change. Things have been heating up fast this Summer. For a broader perspective, let’s compare to this time last year. June 2018:
From June 2018 to June 2019:
Average sales price went from $417,000 up to 449,000.
Average days on market from 14 up to 17 days.
Homes sold went from 260 down to 234.
Comparing year over year, yet again, price is the most noticeable change with an average increase of $32,000. Whereas days on market has started taking slightly longer, and the number of homes sold has decreased slightly; an indication that not as many buyers may be able to afford the increasing prices.
Despite some decreasing stats, prices seem to steadily be trending up. If you’re thinking about selling, don’t let this strong market pass you by.
