Seasonal Delights: Our Favorite Fall Things

Seasonal Delights: Our Favorite Fall Things

Fall is in the air. The days are cooling down and getting shorter, and pumpkin spice everything is back. We love to put on our favorite sweaters and enjoy the crisp, cool days before the rain starts. Here are some of our favorite things to do in the fall.

Everett Art Walk

Did you know Everett Art Walk is a year-round event? Every 3rd Thursday, rain or shine, sunshine or darkness, the event happens in downtown Everett from 5 to 9 p.m. Stop at a downtown eatery beforehand for some dinner and make a night of it.

Everett Farmers Market

We usually think of farmers markets when we think of summer, but the Everett Farmers Market market runs all the way to the end of October. So there’s still time to stock up on jams and soaps and other comforting things to get you through the winter.

Apple Picking

Of course, fall isn’t complete without picking our favorite Honeycrisp apples, which are gigantic, super crisp, and sweet. Our go-to spot is Swan Trail Farms, opening on September 24 for u-pick apples. They have several other varieties too. Make sure to pick up some cider donuts while you’re there.

Fall Walks

The fall experience isn’t complete without a stroll through the russet-color, crunchy leaves. So we love to pick up a pumpkin spice latte (of course) and head to Lowell Riverfront Trail for the iconic views, and a brisk stroll through the fall leaves.
