Social Distancing: Tips for Supporting Local From Home

Social Distancing: Tips for Supporting Local From Home

Local businesses are the heart and soul of our community. They are our favorite places to ask for advice on home repair or to gather with friends to enjoy a good meal. Business owners are our neighbors and friends. The Covid-19 pandemic is putting their livelihood at risk for closure. We’ve compiled a list of websites that offer acceptable ways to follow social distancing guidelines while still supporting our local entrepreneurs.

Everett for Everett

The City of Everett has compiled a pretty comprehensive resource that includes restaurants, grocery store information, ways to help local artists and a shopping guide for seniors and immunocompromised community members.

Discover Mukilteo

This Mukilteo Tourism website has added a page called What Restaurants are Open. It includes phone numbers, menu links and a handy search bar so you can quickly find the type of food you are looking for.

Virtual Snohomish

The City of Snohomish has a snappy site with virtual exercise classes and a virtual tip jar for service workers in addition to takeout food and online shopping options.

Some additional sites to check out are:

Marysville Loves Local

Open for Business Lynnwood

Please let your favorite business know about these websites and ask that they submit their information.
