Seasonal Delights: Summer’s Last Fling
Ok yes, summer is now officially over, but we were kind of cheated out of some of the last days because of the wildfire smoke. We also missed so many things that were canceled due to the pandemic. While the weather is still nice, try to get in at least one last fun summer activity. We have a few ideas for you.
Farmers Market
The Everett and Edmonds markets are still open until the beginning of October. It is the perfect time to pick up some of the last fruit and vegetables of summer and maybe start on your holiday shopping.

Seniors and high-risk customers can shop at 10:30 a.m.
Grand Avenue Park Bridge
At last, the long-awaited Grand Avenue Park Bridge is open. The bridge’s main purpose is to carry storm drainage and sewer pipelines down the steep slope of Everett’s Northwest Neighborhood, but it gives pedestrians a fun way to access the waterfront from Grand Avenue Park. Outdoor Dining
The City of Everett is working with businesses throughout the city to open up outdoor space to serve their customers in a socially distanced manner. Many restaurants are taking advantage of the program and Body & Brain Yoga is holding Tai Chi classes in cordoned-off parking spaces. The cities of Snohomish and Edmonds have a similar program. Little Free Libraries
As we get ready to hunker down for the rain and winds of fall, it is time to get ready for some cozy day at home. Stretch your legs and tour your neighborhood in search of a Little Free Library to find your next read.
