Four Fun Ways to Support Christmas House

Four Fun Ways to Support Christmas House

Do you know about Christmas House? It’s an incredible 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization that works each year to provide free holiday gifts for children from qualifying, low-income families.

In 2021 over 38,000 gifts made their way to over 6,000 children helping give those kids a happy holiday. Let’s help them go even bigger this year.

Here are four ways you can help support Christmas House:

UNWRAPPED GIFT DONATIONS

We will be accepting new, unwrapped gifts at our office at 1904 Wetmore Avenue until December 16, so stop on by, or if that date has passed by the time you read this you can plan to donate next year. Gifts for infants to 18 years old are needed. Toys, books, sports equipment, craft kits, jewelry boxes, electronic games and remote control cars would be great gifts. Get more ideas here

VOLUNTEER

Christmas House is a 100% volunteer-run organization so they can always use help. It's set up like a store from Thanksgiving through Christmas so there’s merchandise handling, shelf stocking and customer service roles. You can sign up to volunteer here

MONETARY DONATIONS

You can donate cash by mail or online. Always check with your employer to see if they will match your donation. Retailers including Fred Meyer, Amazon.com and Stadium Flowers have programs set up to donate a percentage of your purchases to Christmas House. Learn more here

SPREAD THE WORD

Help us make a magical season for Christmas House. Sharing is caring so please help spread the word with friends and family about this amazing organization.
