Four Fun Things: Women’s Clothing Boutiques

Four Fun Things: Women’s Clothing Boutiques

There haven’t been a lot of reasons to get out of our pajamas this past year. Some of us have probably been kicking it in sweatpants and hoodies when we do go out. These are solid comfort clothes needed during dark times. But as things start opening back up and we get out a little more, you might be thinking about giving your wardrobe a little refresh.

Consider helping pump some money into the local economy by shopping at great local boutiques. You will likely pay more than you will at big box stores, but in return, you’ll get something high quality and more unique and get some great customer service to go with it. Here are some of our favorite local boutiques.

Rene’s Clothing
2820 Colby Ave
Everett, WA 98201
(425) 252-2230

Rene’s offers classic and one-of-a-kind items from local and domestic manufacturers. You’ll feel good about your purchases knowing they are thoughtful in their merchandise selection favoring small, independent and female-owned businesses.

Burkett’s
2617 Colby Avenue
Everett, WA 98201
(425) 252-2389

Burkett’s has roots in Everett. The current owner purchased the business from her mother 23 years ago. You’ll find modern and versatile clothing with a little edge.

Hoity Toity
2639 172nd ST NE Suite 105
Marysville, WA 98271
(425) 239-7622

1234 First Street Suite 2
Snohomish, WA 98290
(360) 217-7684

If you are looking for business wear, this is likely not the shop for you. Hoity Toity offers casual fashion that will help you up your pandemic comfort wear game. If you’re going to be lounging around, you may as well look cute.

Joyworks
1002 1st Street
Snohomish, WA 98290
(360) 568-5050

This family-run business has been around for 41 years so they know a thing or two about fashion and stock the shop with a great assortment. You are sure to find something you love. Joyworks is also a great place to shop for gifts so make sure to bring along your list of upcoming birthdays.

We hope you will join us in shopping local to help support our small business owners. Not only do their shops provide character to the community, they provide local jobs and for every $100 spent, $67 goes right back into the local economy. It’s an investment worth making.
