Four Fun Things: Summer Car Shows
If summer had a mascot, it'd be the car. It represents the freedom of a day off, the adventure of a road trip, and the splashy wet fun of your first car wash of the season. Whether you want to show off your boss ride, or just love to bask in the glory of a bunch of amazing vehicles all in one place, summer car shows are the place to be. Can you make it to all of these?
June 19, Snohomish
The Church at Maltby hosts this huge annual contest with over 50 categories. Follow the MCA Hot Rods and Hogs Facebook and get excited with car previews and food truck lineup announcements. Want to make it a full weekend of cars? Head over to Dream Builders Car Show in Monroe the next day.
August 21, Darrington
Support the Darrington Volunteer Fire Department with a visit to the 4th annual Car and Bike Show in Old Town. While you're there, stop by the Hoobajoob Art Show, now in its 11th year!
September 4-6, Everett
The definitive downtown Everett party is everyone's favorite Labor Day Weekend tradition, with three days of events and classic cars as far as the eye can see. Head out early for easy and free parking at the Everpark Garage and stay late to party at Tony V's.
September 12, Edmonds
Close out the season with food, shopping, and cars in beautiful downtown Edmonds. Let the kids build and race pinewood derby cars and find out what you can win in the Lions Club raffle.
