Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Seasonal Delights: Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm

Seasonal Delights: Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm

Snohomish County is home to many great pumpkin patches filled with fun galore. One such place we particularly enjoyed visiting this year was Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm in Snohomish. Bob’s offers much more than just pumpkins, so here’s a few things to know before you go.

More than pumpkins

In addition to classic pumpkin picking, Bob’s also offers hayrides, a trike track (with tricycles for kids and adults!), a playground, a large corn maze, a kids corn maze, u-pick pumpkins, a cow train, big slides, corn crib, and more!

The corn crib, in case you’re like us and have never heard of it is like a ball pit for kids. But instead of plastic balls, it is filled with corn kernels, and the little ones can’t get enough!

Buy Tickets Early

Yes, we said tickets. All of the activities mentioned above are included with the cost of admission (plus more). When you buy your tickets ahead of time online, you’ll save money and ensure that your date and time won't be sold out. Plan to go on a weekday to save even more on the cost of admission.

Other activities (that don’t require a ticket)

Not all of the activities at Bob’s require you to buy a ticket ahead of time. They also have some fee-based activities. Test your aim with the apple cannon, where you can shoot apples at targets for $2/shot or $10 for a bucket of 10 apples. Bob’s also has an idyllic river trough where you can test your gem mining skills. Different size bags of hidden gems are available for purchase. So hit the stream and get to mining and see what shiny treasures await.

Just want to pick a pumpkin?

If you’re not interested in the other activities, yes, you can just pick pumpkins. Bob’s lower pumpkin patch is open to the public. So you can remain focused on your search for your next best jack-o-lantern, free of distractions.

Concessions and the Country Store

If you go to Bob’s on a weekend, you’ll find farm-fresh treats from kettle corn to hot spiced cider, roasted corn on the cob, roasted squash, Sarah’s Sweets (including pumpkin donuts, caramel apples, and more). And don’t miss Ellie Mae’s fudge which is also open on weekdays.

The Country Store is open daily through October. With unique country decor, comfy clothing, and locally crafted gifts. The Country Store is the perfect place to grab a souvenir, some fresh local produce, or according to Bob’s, “the best sweet corn in Washington.”

Wherever you decide to pick your pumpkins this year, we wish you a most wonderful fall season. And if you do decide to go to Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm, we hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we did.
