Seasonal Delights: Cool and Creamy Milkshakes
Is there anything more satisfying in summer than a thick and creamy milkshake? Our favorite shakes are from Ray’s in north Everett on Broadway and we love a refreshing mint chocolate chip shake from Baskin-Robbins too.
We asked the Everett Neighbors Facebook group about their favorite milkshake and they did the neighborly thing and passionately shared their favorites. Here are their top recommendations.
Mikie’s

Located in central Everett, Mikie’s is a go-to spot for classic burgers and fries, and apparently, they are very well known for their peanut butter shakes. By far, Mikie’s PB shakes got the most mentions by neighbors. They’ve got a new “Pixie” shake on their menu that looks worth giving a try. It’s chocolate and raspberry!
Snohomish Pie Co.

Snohomish Pie Co. takes all the flavors of pie ala mode and puts it in a cup. Pick out your favorite cream or regular pie and they’ll blend it with vanilla ice cream for a Pie Shake. Did you know Snohomish Pie Co. does more than pies? They’ve got a great lunch menu and make scrumptious cookies and cinnamon rolls.
Nutty’s Junk Yard Grill

It’s a bit of a drive, but Nutty’s in downtown Arlington is a great spot for burgers, fries and onion rings. We’ve heard the shakes are pretty darn good too. They’ve got a sour cherry shake on the menu and that’s not one we’ve seen before. We’re going to have to take a trip soon.
Z’s Burgers

Home of the 777 Deluxe Cheeseburger, Z’s Burgers has been open for over 25 years in Mukilteo. They were recommended for some less traditional flavored shakes such as butterscotch and chocolate chip mint, but if those aren’t to your liking, they have all the traditional flavors too.
